You have met our products from time to time and you do meet our dealers but now we thought it was high time for you to meet some of our customers. In Sweden as I have informed before we try to present our customers in our ads. This is done to bring customer’s word behind a product. We know that we have great products but it is one thing if we say it and a hall other ballgame if our customers say so.

In a lovely leafy tree region in the Swedish region Skåne do we meet with Stig Hermansson that works with the forest as a recreation and his neighbor Bertil Sturesson, the forest owner that takes care of his own forest as well as others being a forestry entrepreneur in the region. Bertil and Stig are brought up surrounded by the forest and they say that one should work the forest by oneself to get to know it. It is the greatest feeling to look at an area that one have thinned and harvest oneself. Out of consideration for the forest they use smaller machinery which gives benefits if the person handling them knows what he is doing.
Both of them actually own the second machine of the same brand. Stig owns his second FAMRA and Bertil his second NIAB and as Bertil said that it might have been a bit of coincidence buying the first one but certainly not buying the second one. Stig owns a CT 6, 0 – 9 FARMA lumber trailer. He says that it is a price worthy, flexible trailer that really follows the tractor through the frame steering. The extension of the crane (7,10m) has showed to be crucial several times. The light weight valve package has saved the body.
Bertil choose a NIAB because they are simpler to use, requires less horsepower but are still able to take timber around 50 cm in diameter. To jump back and forth into the tractor from time to time does not bother Bertil. It is good for the body to move and to sit still in a tractor all day is not appealing for him.
Bertil has worked in the forest for 45 years on accord and says that he is probably more expansive per cubic meter then the larger harvesting companies, but over the years he have not had any complain and says that it has to come from him being able to clean up nicely in the forest with the NIAB. You are able to really make the thinning into an art form with NIAB in the way in how you choose which trees to take and the way it is handled without any damage on the still standing trees ends Bertil.
