Remember our blog from last year’s August (able to read at www.forsmw.blogspot.com) how whole Estonia celebrated the 20th of August with the biggest celebration since the beginning of the 90’s?

20th of August is here again – strange how fast the time flies – and it’s yet another „anniversary“of re-independence of Estonia. This year such big festivities are not following, you just cannot have a crowd of Estonians singing through the night every year, it would take away the magic and well, winning golden Olympic medal every year is simply not possible.

I was going through some photos of a trip to one of Estonian islands Hiiumaa and I realized not much more is needed than a good company, beautiful nature and of course nice weather doesn’t hurt. What I am trying to say? I think we should use the free day to be with the loved ones and cherish what we have, as a country and individuals.
