Motocana was founded already in 1959. It started its activities as the manufacture of hydraulic compontents such as pumps, controls and cylinders. With the growth of the sugar cane plantations, Motocana saw an opportunity and developed the first sugar cane loader in the country.

This project began a new phase for the company which over the coming 50 years would launch no less than 200 models of different kinds of equipment developed for the cargo handling sectors. Motocana diversified its product line by developing a line of forestry equipment to attend an expanding market, which requires equipment to face the difficulties imposed on the forest operations, removing wood from the fields and supplying it to the industry. Motocana has full aftermarket service. Giving their products all the necessary support needed to stay in business 50 years more.
